Mai Hydropower Project (15.6 MW)

The process of establishing the Special Purpose Company to implement the Mai Hydropower Project (15.6 MW) was started in June 2008. The company registration certificate was issued by the Company Registrar’s Office as “Mai Hydropower (P.) Limited” in 11 September 2008, later it was renamed as “Sanima Mai Hydropower (P.) Limited”.

Job:    Feasibility Study completed, EIA study approved from MOEST, Detail Design completed and the project is in final stage of tender awarding. Draft PPA signed between NEA & the Company and soon going for final PPA. Preparatory work at site (Access road, Owner’s housing) under progress.
