Sanima Hydropower (P) Ltd. (SHPL) was established in March 1999 in Kathmandu, Nepal under the company Act 2053 of the government of Nepal ( Company registered no. 10165/055/056) with the main objective to promote hydropower sector of Nepal through the private investment as a part of contribution to the overall development of the country. The major share holders are a group of the Non-Resident Nepalese (NRNs) represented mainly by engineering professionals.
